De Vakmakerij was founded in 2018 by cp.corvers to address wicked problems within the social environment with design & innovation practices. In addition, De Vakmakerij supports individuals, professionals and organisations in developing talents and skills appropriate to a sustainable networked way of working together. We work on the strategic, management and production levels of the organisation or collective.

De Vakmakerij does this because wealth and well-being are not equitably distributed. People only seem to belong to our group if they meet our standards, resulting in large groups of people being excluded by our institutions and society. Sustainable development of individuals, groups and communities is needed, according to a United Nations study, in order for communities to develop with respect for each other and our future generations.

Inspired by this Sustainable Development and Human Scale Development, De Vakmakerij wants to contribute to the sustainable development of communities. This is only possible through collaboration between individuals and organisations that dare to rise above their interests. Working together towards a common goal in which there is harmony within and between the economic, ecological and social pillars that support sustainable development.

De Vakmakerij provides development paths for the professionals, supported in specific case studies and developing supporting techniques and tools.
